I am sorry i haven't posted anything for a while...I have been in the process of moving my craft room from above the garage into our house..We had a spare room and decided my crafts should be in the house and the exercise equipment could go upstairs to that room..
here are some cookie sheet calendars i have been working on.
All of the numbers and months are on magnets so they stick to the cookie sheet.
A friend of mine asked me to make her some western cards for her...she is then going to give them to a friend of hers for a birthday present...this is what i came up with so far... I cased the purple and blue cards from simply simple stamping blog...the other i came up with by myself...
just wanted to let everyone know I have been workin on stuff to post...but between back-to-school, summertime campin and other activities i haven't gotten anything posted... Just know I haven't forgotten and look for somethin new next week..hopefully early in the week...
Here are a few pics of things I've been workin on lately....most of them are items i will have for sale at our local holiday craft bazaar and flea market..These first two aren't quite finished, but i wanted to post the pics anyway....i used good old fashioned, learned in grade school paper weaving...I have a lot of leftover, retired stuff and am trying to use some of it up...bear with me and i will post some current stuff as well :)....
Here are some things you can do with some of those extra utensils you don't use but can't throw away because there isn't anything wrong with them..Then hang them on your wall or give them as gifts.....
and last but certainly not least =) here are some ideas for flowers incase you can't make a run to the florist.... these ones last a bit longer..lol...and generally you can make the vase or recycle a pop bottle as i did in the first one...
Hope you have enjoyed all my 'craftiness' so far...have a great day!
Ok here is my first blog post...YAY!!!....This is a Top Note gift box I made using my Bigshot...I glued 2 layers of denim on a piece of tagboard...almost too thick for the machine..I think next time I will use only one layer of denim or a thinner piece of cardstock in the middle...hope you like it...
